A kiss is an intimate gesture, full of meaning: it confirms a good thing, it affirms a new affection, it is used to greet each other, for fun, between friends. But it is not a gesture that we can take for granted. And so Sam rebels against the request for kisses. He hides. And when he becomes too big to hide, he imagines that it is the kisses that have hidden themselves: and whoever asks for a kiss is invited to play hide and seek, to look for these playful kisses that can hide really well.

A playful story about children’s right to set some boundaries, which adults must respect.
