For the second year, Just Right is attending Più Libri Più Liberi (PLPL), Italy’s most significant fair for small and medium-sized independent publishing houses.
Taking place from December 4 to December 8 in Rome, Più Libri Più Liberi is a well-established gathering for professionals in the publishing industry and the general audience.
Now in its 24th edition, this year’s event features around 570 publishers from across Italy, along with agents, distributors, scouters, international guests, and voices from the realms of culture and information. The programme includes over 700 events, such as meetings, presentations, round tables, and various other activities.
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, the 2025 theme pays tribute to one of the British author’s most famous novels. Titled Senses and Sensibilities, the extensive palimpsest intertwines experiences, voices, perspectives, reflections, memories, and new visions – exploring, through books, the people who wrote them and, above all, the people who read them.
And as children’s books, in particular, leave an enduring impact on their readers, shaping imagination, creativity, and sensibility from an early age, Just Right will be presenting its extensive 2025 catalogue at the PLPL Rights Centre – a dedicated space for publishers and agencies focused on the exchange of publishing rights
