Alice Ourghanlian lives between Marseille and Paris, where she studied illustration at the École Estienne. Her work is interested in the vintage aesthetics of the first half of the 20th century, favouring settings such as cities like New York and Paris, or focusing on the big and small adventures of childhood. Through brush and ink, gouache and coloured pencils, Alice creates vivid and dense images, blending delicacy and humour. In addition to children’s illustration, her interests include graphic design, comics and animated films. She graduated at Ars in Fabula Master in Illustration, which she attended after winning the Bologna Children’s Book Fair Ars in Fabula– Grant Award, awarded yearly to a young illustrator under the age of 30, already selected for the Illustrators Exhibition at BCBF but still unpublished.
