Andrea Vico is an Italian science journalist and educator with over 25 years of experience in science communication. Born in Turin, he began his career in 1988 and has contributed to leading newspapers such as La Stampa (TuttoScienze), Il Sole 24 Ore, and Le Scienze, writing about environmental issues, energy, and technology.
In addition to journalism, he has worked in television (including Hit Science on Rai Tre) and radio, and has authored several educational books. Vico is also the creator of interactive science exhibitions like Experimenta in Turin and Muvita in Arenzano.
A passionate advocate for environmental education, he designs science camps, workshops, and educational games for young audiences. He is also the founder of ToScience, a cultural association aimed at promoting scientific literacy. From 2005 to 2014, he worked on a major outreach project for children in the favelas of Salvador, Brazil.
