Lucia Vaccarino is an acclaimed Italian author, scriptwriter, and executive producer. Born in Turin in 1981, she studied Communication at the IULM University in Milan and has worked across publishing, television, and digital media.
She began her career in branded content and children’s TV development, and from 2012 to 2014 was an executive producer at The Walt Disney Company Italy, where she oversaw live-action series such as Life Bites. In 2013, she made her debut as a children’s author with the Me, Mum & Mystery series for Fabbri Editori.
Since then, Vaccarino has written more than 60 books and stories, published by top Italian houses including Mondadori, Piemme, EL Edizioni and Gallucci. Her work often blends humour, adventure, and strong female leads. From 2014 to 2024, she was a member of Book on a Tree, a collective of writers and creatives founded by Pierdomenico Baccalario.
