Born in Genoa in 1965, Mariapaola Pesce started working as head of the children’s section of her family’s bookstore, dealing with educational initiatives with libraries and schools. There she held her first writing training courses. After a long break as a business coach, she returned to her first love, this time dedicating herself to writing as well as training. She is currently part of the artistic and organisational direction of the travelling festival for young readers “Zaratan – Una foresta di storie” and coordinator of the reading promotion project “Omero – Gli scrittori raccontano i libri”.
