The most famous young detective around. At least, according to him.

Linus likes to work in the shadows, but he’s a detective so famous that he’s destined for glory! He claims to have a personal secretary, whom he refers to as Mum for convenience’s sake, and an assistant, Bagarre, a little dog whose potential Mum doesn’t seem to have understood yet. He is an eccentric and awkward version of the famous film noir investigators.

It’s a quiet Sunday in late October when a new development upsets the balance in Linus’s house: his idol, his mentor, his father is back. Having disappeared a few years earlier without warning, he’s now here to get a second chance. Linus is so happy about it that he indulges him in  everything, even pretending not to be interested in Halloween – with all due respect to his poor neighbour Mr De Marinis, who is organising the celebrations just for him. Meanwhile, Mrs Putacaso arrives at the young detective’s house to entrust him with an investigation: someone has kidnapped her husband, the Honourable Mr Putacaso. Will Linus manage to find him and at the same time reconnect with his father?
