Mel’s dad is in love with the most horrible woman on Earth: the terrifying headmistress of her school, whom all the kids call the Crusher. But Mel is not going to let this happen. She enlists the help of Brunilde, a weird yet brilliant middle-schooler who lives surrounded by spellbooks, potions, and enchanted junk in her family’s garage. Together, they’ll try to concoct the perfect love antidote.
