Mia & Bau. A Mountain of Inventions
A blocked door, a tree full of squirrels, a flock of nervous birds — and two best friends who don’t speak the same language, but always find a way to fix things together.
High in the forest of the White Mountain, Mia — a bold, English-speaking cat — and Bau, her sweet, scatterbrained Italian pug best friend, set out with their animal friends for a hike, a picnic, and, as always, an unexpected problem. Across three short comic adventures, a rockfall blocks the mountain shelter, a family of curious squirrels goes unseen in a tall tree, and a shy new family of birds needs protecting from over-eager admirers. Mia, Bau and their friends invent their way through every one, with whatever is lying around: a lever, a homemade pulley, a cork printing press. Neither Mia nor Bau ever needs a translator. They just need each other.
