Premio Panizon “Unmissable Picture book”
Is it a wordless book? Almost, but not completely: the only words in this picture book are, in fact, onomatopoeias! Page after page, we follow a child during his/her daily routine: waking up in the morning, having breakfast, going to school, and then playing during school break, taking a nap after lunch, going to the swimming pool and back home… Every illustration is crowded with all the things going on and makes us listen to the noises surrounding the protagonist.
But there is a special moment when you can switch off all the noises. When that time comes, in the evening, you can enter a completely different world.
It’s when you open a book…
An original almost-wordless book with an inspiring message about the magic of reading.

Little Kangaroo has found a wonderful Kookaburra feather. But… a naughty gust of wind has lifted the feather into the air! Little Kangaroo tries to jump, hop, bounce, but it’s impossible to catch. Koala arrives: “Don’t panic! If you climb on my back, we’ll catch it in the blink of an eye!” And hop! But right when Little Kangaroo is…
