Annalisa Strada is a renowned Italian author specializing in children’s and young adult literature. After earning a degree in Modern Literature from the University of Milan, she worked in the editorial field and then as a teacher of Italian literature at a lower secondary school, while continuing her writing career. She published over 100 books, ranging from illustrated stories for early readers to novels for young adults. Her works are known for their engaging narratives and often tackle themes relevant to young audiences. Throughout her career, she has received several awards, including Premio Andersen, Premio Gigante delle Langhe, Premio Arpino, Premio Cento. In addition to writing, she is actively involved in promoting reading among children and adolescents. She also conducts courses on children’s literature and writing, sharing her expertise with aspiring writers.
