Azzurra D’Agostino was born and lives in a small village in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. An acclaimed poet, playwright and children’s author, she has published several poetry collections, written extensively for the theatre and released numerous picture books. Her work has earned some of Italy’s most prestigious literary awards, including the Carducci Prize, the Ciampi Valigie Rosse Prize and the Ceppo Prize. She has also edited an anthology of poems written by children, collected through workshops held across Italy. Alongside her writing, she leads poetry and creative writing workshops for readers of all ages.
