Giulia Orecchia studied at the School of Design at the Politecnico of Milan, where she met Bruno Munari and other famous graphic designers. She started working as a freelance illustrator in 1980. Since then she has published over 100 children’s books with several of the major Italian and foreign publishers, becoming one of the most appreciated Italian illustrators.
