Manlio Castagna (Salerno, 1974), writer, screenwriter and director, has been in the organisation of the Giffoni children’s film festival for over twenty years and was its deputy artistic director from 2007 to 2018. After writing and directing award-winning short films, documentaries, webseries, music videos, and animation, he made his debut in children’s literature with the bestselling saga Petrademone translated in several countries. His first feature film as screenwriter and director produced by Rai Cinema and One More Pictures, Il viaggio degli eroi, has just been released. He holds a course at Scuola Holden on genre writing (horror, fantasy, sci-fi).
