Marco Magnone is one of the most admired and sought after children’s authors by schools, exhibitions and reading groups in Italy, through which he meets thousands and thousands of young readers all over the country every year.

His works include: the novels My Light Blue Summer (romance-coming-of-age contemporary, Mondadori, 2019, over 10,000 copies in Italy), Until the Last Breath (teen drama-coming-of-age contemporary, Mondadori, 2021), Celeste’s War (adventure-historical, Mondadori, 2022, longlisted for Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi, over 10,000 copies in Italy), Read Again Nanà (picture book, Mondadori, 2025, longlisted for the Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi). With Fabio Geda he has signed the two successful sagas Berlin (dystopian, 6 volumes, Mondadori, 2015-2018, translated into German, Greek, Romanian and optioned for cinema, over 100,000 copies in Italy) and The Secrets of Acquamorta (contemporary thriller-mystery, 4 volumes, Mondadori, 2021-2022), the novel Barriera (co-authored with Manlio Castagna, contemporary teen thriller-crime-coming-of-age, Piemme, 2023).
He teaches at the Holden School in Turin, at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and collaborates in the artistic direction of the Storie in Cammino festival in Firenzuola.
