Marco Malvezzi lives and works in Milan, where he was born in 1970. Over the years, he has worked as a freelance photographer in various fields: fashion, still life, advertising, and travel reportage for some of the most important Italian magazines.

In addition to photography, he is passionate about graphic design and also creates drawings and paintings using non-digital techniques. A true art enthusiast, he has a particular fondness for 20th-century European painting and contemporary American artists. He also loves auteur cinema and Eastern philosophical literature.

Nature is another of his passions, and he spends as much time as possible at sea. Gauguin in Tahiti is his first book.
