Maria Elisa Aloisi lives in Catania, where she works as a criminal defence lawyer. In 2021 she published her debut adult crime novel with Il Giallo Mondadori, winning the Tedeschi Prize, one of Italy’s leading awards for crime fiction. She is also the winner of the fifth edition of A caccia di storie, the Italian talent scouting initiative developed in collaboration with Lucca Crea, Book on a Tree, Amref Health Africa, and Mondadori.
