Born in Cuneo, Italy, in 1999, Marianna Bruno works strictly by hand with traditional techniques, particularly tempera and gouache, focusing on the themes of folklore, nature, symbols and primitivism, as well as the relationships existing between human, nature and culture. She works as a visual artist and freelance illustrator and author, and collaborates with theatre companies, museums, cultural associations and artist residencies. In 2024 she was one of the 50 Italian artists selected for NGT2024 by the Italian Ministry of Culture.
