Neil Packer is a multi awarded English author and illustrator. For One of a Kind (Walker Books) he received the Bologna Ragazzi Award and the Italian Premio Andersen and Premio Letteratura Ragazzi di Cento. For The Folio Society he illustrated several precious limited editions, among which Shakespeare’s Complete Plays and Dante’s Divine Comedy. In collaboration with Jim Kay he also illustrated Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling.
In 2024 he has been appointed Author Ambassador by Bologna Book Plus within Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
