Serena Ballista is an Italian writer, educator, and feminist activist from Modena. She has published several books with Settenove, including A Room of My Own and Beaver. In 2017, A Room of My Own was selected for the prestigious White Ravens list, which highlights the 200 best children’s books worldwide, curated by the International Youth Library in Munich. Beyond writing, Serena is actively engaged in feminist advocacy and frequently shares her work and insights on social media platforms.
