Stella Mongodi was born in Italy but now lives in Edinburgh. She holds a degree in Ancient theatre, and studied art and illustration for many years with renowned professionals such as Alessandra Cimatoribus, Anna Castagnoli, Carll Cneut and Stefano Moroni. She published 35 children’s books, mainly with publishers from the UK and the US.
