Vernante Pallotti (Verona, 1990) is an Italian writer, screenwriter, and director. Her name means “she who brings spring,” and from that season she draws inspiration for her creativity, rooted in youth, vitality, and wonder. She writes mainly stories of love, childhood, and adolescence, convinced that—alongside planting trees—the most intelligent gesture today is to give importance and attention to younger generations. Together with her husband, Daniele Zen, she forms an artistic duo working across books, animation, and cinema. Their creative equipment? Magic, love, fun, folklore, and the charm of nature. Their stories are aimed at children and teenagers — and at adults who still know how to dream. Among her works: Zilla Snake Fangs (Piemme, 2024), co-written with Daniele Zen, and Lidia Poët and the Secret of the Boarding School (Piemme, 2024), read and approved by Lidia Poët’s heirs, who recognized the true essence of Lidia in the pages of the book.
