Shortlisted for Il Gigante delle Langhe National Prize Some creatures are meant to stay hidden. Some truths are not.
Five teens. One summer. A forest full of secrets. They came to study nature. No one expected to find claw marks. Or silence. Or fear. Locals whisper about the “pard”—a creature that doesn’t exist. At least, that’s what they’re told. But something is watching. And someone is hiding the truth. As the forest closes in, the group must face what’s real, what’s imagined — and what should never be found.
