What if one day all the holes disappeared from the world? Would doughnuts still be doughnuts? How would you open a door without a keyhole?
The residents of Elsewhere have a serious problem: someone is stealing all the holes. Keyholes, doughnuts, birdboxes… nothing is safe. And to make things worse, the weather has gone completely mad—garbage is falling from the sky. In short, Elsewhere is a terrible place for a holiday. Unfortunately, no one told Snot and Splash, two kids who were just supposed to spend a few quiet days at Grandma’s house. But when they arrive and realise the world is literally falling apart (or caving in), they get swept up in a madcap adventure to uncover the thief, solve the mystery, and save the town—and possibly the entire world. Because here’s the thing: even the biggest hole started as the tiniest pinprick. And once the holes are gone, what remains?
