It is a sweet spring morning, and Pino Peppino is resting after all the hard work — and the joy — of Christmas. One of his old friends arrives: Pippo the cat, who has run away from home to reach the forest and explore it. But the forest is big and mysterious, and Pippo the cat is a little scared. He does not know where he is going to sleep… He feels sad, but then… while walking through the woods, he suddenly sees… giant feet! Curious — all cats are — he cautiously tiptoes closer, and… they are the feet of sleepy Pino Peppino! He is taking his usual (very long) nap! There are a few funny misunderstandings at first, and Peppino Pine, as everyone knows, is absent-minded and always getting into trouble, but together they will live many amusing adventures.

Peppino Pine and the City Cat is the second adventure of a new character by Nicoletta Costa: Peppino! He is a very special tree; two legs sprout from beneath his branches… Yes, he’s a tree that walks! He never stays still, he’s always on the move, curious, a bit lazy, very absent-minded and gets into trouble without meaning to. He’s got quite a temper, but he’s generous and friendly, and he has lots of friends in the woods where he lives. Peppino Pine and his friends will be the stars of lots of funny and slightly zany stories.
