The Mysteries of Mercurio 8 – Palladio and the Secret of the Face
An old man who lives in the top of a tower in the heart of Florence challenges three friends to a dangerous mission: to discover and solve the hidden mysteries of the art world!
While the feast of the Rifi colona with its colourful lanterns is being prepared in Florence, Nina, Jamal and Lorenzo are catapulted back to Vicenza in 1560, within the walls of Palazzo Porto. The task assigned by Mercurio to the boys is more mysterious than ever: the first step is to reach Palladio, the great architect, who is building the splendid Villa Barbaro in Maser. Amidst flesh-and-blood bandits and stone giants, quarrelsome artists and boat thieves, the three friends will then reach the Serenissima, to lose themselves among calli and canals in an attempt to save a unique work of art.
