An old man who lives in the top of a tower in the heart of Florence challenges three friends to a dangerous mission: to discover and solve the hidden mysteries of the art world!
Catapulted to Perugia in 1504, Nina, Lorenzo and Jamal find themselves witnessing the gruesome discovery of a corpse caught in a mill wheel. In the crowd, a handsome and elegant young man is drawing the scene: it’s Raphael. Having become friends, the three boys and the painter set out to solve the mystery, but when the artist receives a prestigious invitation from Florence, they all leave in a huff. Raphael is in fact eager to reach the city not only for the assignment, but also to track down his beloved Lucetta, the daughter of an innkeeper who seems to have disappeared into thin air.
