From October 15 to 19, the city of Frankfurt will transform into a global hub for publishing professionals, authors, and cultural experts.
The Frankfurter Buchmesse is, in fact, the most highly anticipated international event in the publishing industry. It attracts more than 300,000 visitors and over 4,000 exhibitors from over 90 countries, making it the premier marketplace for buying and selling rights as well as exchanging innovative ideas that shape the future of publishing.
During the fair Just Right, celebrating its first anniversary since its official presentation in Frankfurt last year, will unveil its brand-new catalogue.
This extensive catalogue, filled with exciting new releases and hidden gems from the backlist, ranges from illustrated books to children’s literature, non-fiction to early readers.
The Frankfurter Buchmesse serves as a crossroads of people and cultures, making it an ideal opportunity to build new professional relationships while cultivating existing ones. And Just Right is delighted to use this platform to promote the best of the Italian artistic and literary scene for children abroad.
The agency represents some of the finest Italian authors, including Pierdomenico Baccalario, Nicoletta Costa, Maria Gianola, Marco Magnone, Ericavale Morello, and Davide Morosinotto, as well as the catalogues of prestigious publishing houses for the foreign market like Camelozampa, winner of the 2020 Bologna Children’s Book Fair award for best European children’s publisher; Edizioni Corsare, which focuses on quality and contemporary issues; ideestortepaper, known for its creativity and originality; Settenove, an independent Italian publishing house dedicated to promoting gender equality and human rights; Emons Raga, specialising in books that can be both read and listened to; and A WALK THROUGH HISTORY an independent Russian publishing house specialising in non-fiction children’s books.
You can meet Francesca, Michela, and Sara at the Italian collective stand organised by ICE in collaboration with the Italian Publishers Association (Hall 5.0 – B19, tables 12 and 13), and Rosamaria at the Agents Centre (Hall 6.2 – table 27J).
