Cristina Portolano studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and at the EnsAD in Paris. In 2016 she published her first comic book, Quasi signorina, for Topipittori. Other publications followed, for Rizzoli Lizard, Canicola, Centauria, Piemme. Since 2020 she has been teaching Graphic Design of Image and Illustration at the IAAD in Bologna.
