Enrico Macchiavello is an illustrator, comic book artist and animator from Genoa, Italy. Trained at various art schools in the Liguria region, he has developed a distinctive, irreverent visual style.

His work spans advertising, animation and merchandising, where he has created iconic animated campaigns – most notably the iconic Ceres beer ads – and a wide range of collectible characters for children’s products. 

Macchiavello is known for his grotesquely cheerful character designs, his offbeat humour and his ability to create vivid, unforgettable visual worlds. He has been honoured at several major comics and illustration festivals and continues to be a key figure in Italian visual storytelling.
