Sara Brienza, known as Lunastorta, is a 2D illustrator and animator born in 1999. After studying Illustration and Animation at IED in Milan, she began working as a freelancer across different fields: she has collaborated with several animation studios, including Racoon Studio, worked on projects for brands such as Acqua di Parma, Candy, Apple, and Artigiano in Fiera, and since 2022 she has been teaching Character Design in the Animation Master’s program at IED Milan. Her main focus is children’s publishing: she has published several books, including picture books and illustrated novels, collaborating with publishers such as Mondadori, Fabbri, Il Castoro, North Parade, Lo Scarabeo, ELI Graded Readers, and Valentina Edizioni. Her illustrations have been featured in various exhibitions, including Saranno Illustri in Vicenza and the Livio Sossi Award exhibition at Lucca Junior, where she received a Special Mention for originality of interpretation and richness of imagination.
